This morning Adam and Hezekiah, my two littlest brothers (Adam is three and Hezekiah one), were in the kitchen together. Hezekiah would point to a random object (the dishwasher, then a cup, then a cabinet and so on) and Adam would tell him the name of each one. They did this for half an hour while I was doing the dishes. It was the cutest thing!!! I really need to get some pictures on here... (Hey Blogger, if you're listening, make an iPhone app so I can post pictures on my blog from my iPod touch. Thanks very much).

400 miles over-due...
Yesterday I changed the oil in our car. It was the first time I'd done that. I change the oil in the van and Dad's truck a lot but never in the car until yesterday. It took FOREVER!!! I have been thinking over what I did yesterday and how I can do it better, and I have resolved to cut the time it took me by 4/5 the next time I need an oil change. Does anyone else enjoy changing oil, mowing lawns, whacking weeds (and yes with a weedwhacker LOL), shoveling snow, or any of the plethora of other tasks that our current society views as a hassle? I love doing all those and more!!!
Today I spent the majority of my time with my Dad learning how to use a new house drawing software program that he recently purchased. It was a lot of fun. We read through the blueprints of the first house that we built and drew it up on there. Guess what?!? It didn't have a flat-screen tv (or ANY kind of tv for that matter!!!) in the list of decorations for your house! It was also missing such necessities as bookshelves, cars for your garage, nightstand lamps (they had nightstands though), and other stuff that I can't recall at the moment. I had a lot of fun. They also didn't have *wait for it* GUITARS!!! OR GUITAR STANDS WITH GUITARS ON THEM!!! How sad.
Tomorrow is square dancing night!!! I can't wait! It is so much fun. Do any of my followers/occasional viewers square dance? Would anyone like to learn?

Today is Saturday. I know what you're thinking: "DUH!!!" but please, bear with me. At the Pederson household on Saturday, you will find our weekly cleaning getting done. Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning toilets, sinks and counters and so on. We have it all split up into certain allotments and you choose yours and get it done (I know I know: DUH again). Most of us can get ours done within an hour. There's usually country music going; Rodney Atkins, Trace Adkins, Eric Chuch, Keith Urban, Josh Turner, Jason Aldean and a Gaelic band called Gaelic Storm and an opera group conducted by Paul Hillier are some of our favourite artists to listen to. HOW COULD I FORGET BRAD PAISLY?!?!?!?!? Brad Paisley should be on that list!!! Put him in mentally.
Earlier when I was vacuuming, my little 1-year-old brother Hezekiah was assisting me. He is SOOO CUTE!!! When I get on to a computer I'll upload a picture of him. It's always fun when he helps me.

Don't have a title
My title is entitled what it is for the simple reason that I don't have a title so I decided to state that as the heading for what will follow. Of course, I have no idea what will follow because I'm typing this out on the fly.
Alright so how has everyone been? Good? I certainly hope so. On the 22-23 of January my family and I stayed at the "Deluxe suites" of the Steamboat Springs Worldmark location. Worldmark is a timeshare, for those of you who didn't know. Deluxe makes me laugh. My bedroom is more deluxe than those suites. There was still painter's tape around the can reccessed lights, the trim isn't level at all, there were paint splatters all over the tile, there were trim stain splatters on the wall, the wall was a myriad of different shades of a light dull yellow, and the list keeps going. The lack of pride in one's work in today's society scares me. These people are the "blow-and-go" types that are found everywhere in the construction industry. And not just in construction. They're in every part of life. My family purchased a set of classical CDs that were on sale and the cases fell apart when we opened the plastic wrap. There are people everywhere that cut as many corners as possible. I could list numerous jobs that my wonderful father has worked on where the previous contractor "cut enough corners to re-pave New York". That's a direct quote from my Dad. I hope people start to care about what their name is on.
Who plays guitar? I recently learned how to play "He Reigns" by the Newsboys. I love that song. Hopefully I'll be able to learn more songs about the glories of our wonderful Creator. Please leave whatever comments you desire. Thanks for reading.

Day... uuhhhh... I forget :D
Sooooo... how was everybody's Christmas? Mine was really fun. We (for future reference, when I say 'we' it means my family and I or if I pre-specify it might refer to a group of my friends and I or something to that effect) went caroling on Christmas Eve and it was really cool seeing people's faces as they watched us sing. We brought a lot of people joy, I think. There were some people that teared up even. I had a lot of fun and I really want to go caroling again next year.
On Christmas day we went to our neighbour's house for a brunch. One of our aunts and uncles were there as well and another family whose Dad works with mine. I believe we were there for around three hours. It was really fun. We read the Christmas story and sang some Christmas songs. I love getting together with other Christians because God is the underlying subject of everything. I really like that.
So I guess my readers (if there are any) will wonder what I got for Christmas. Here is a list. A new belt (my old one was barely hanging on. I mean that literally), hair gel (I like gelling my hair), Start Here by Alex and Brett Harris, a BIG box of RUNTS (my favourite candy) and a really cool sweatshirt.
Last night I found out that I might be able to go snowboarding this coming Saturday. I can't wait to see what the answer will be!!! I would have to decide which board and boots to use because I have two sets but my ones from last year are pretty tight. That's actually why I bought my second set at a garage sale earlier this year. It was $20 for boots, bindings and a board. Couldn't pass it up.
Did I ever say that I have three guitars? Well I do. I love to sit and just play and play and play.
I have to go now. More posts hopefully will follow. By the way, if you haven't ever heard of Straight No Chaser look them up on you-tube. Look up their song "Christmas Can-Can" as well as "Twelve Days of Christmas". They are an acapella singing group from Indiana.

Day 2:
This morning I woke up late so breakfast was late but at least everyone else woke up late too. I am sore from all the sitting in the van yesterday. There are at least 7" of powder outside. Thank goodness for our 33" Honda snowblower!!! Too bad I don't have a pass to Mt. Werener because today is a PHENOMINAL powder day!!! But it is still snowing here so when it does stop snowing Werner will get a TON of business from everyone going up there.
Well, time to fire up the snowblower, then it's on to school. More posts to follow (possibly).

Day 1: WARNING
I am new to this blogging thing. This blog may contain but is not limited to: humourous comments, one sided views, Mallard Fillmore quotes, big words, small words, medium-sized words, book excerpts, dictionary definitions, and anything else I may and probably will choose to post. Please forgive the current estate of this blog; I started it on my iPod touch and I plan on re-vamping it when I get on a computer.
So I guess what most people do is put something about their current life and the near future on here. I've never really followed the "most people" that most people follow. I may in this instance however, since I can't think of anything else to post about at the moment.
Today I went to Gysum and hung out with the Laws on their ten acres. It was raining the whole time. And I forgot my gloves. And water seeped into my technically "waterproof" backpack and ruined the front cover of my SAS Survival Guide. I have decided to keep it in a Ziploc bag from now on.
My family and I have been practicing for our Christmas caroling that we hope to do this Christmas Eve. I have been working on my bass and I hope it sounds okay. I'm also hoping that I can remember all the words and the correct notes. In practice we have sounded great so far. I hope we all remember our notes.
It's late so I'm going to bed. Brian is still up on his computer. I didn't get any guitar playing in today. Oh well. I plan on getting school done tomorrow (some anyway). Nighty night.
